Busy weekend pays off
Last weekend was a busy weekend with Roy Van Beek competing with our breeding stallion Fortune R Z in the 7-year-old horses at WK zangersheide and also had to ride at the CSIO Youth Final in Peelbergen.
With Fortune R Z, we were quite satisfied with the performance. Especially considering the preparation was not quite ideal. In the Troosting he ran a clear round and finished 21st.
In the CSIO Youth Final in the youngriders, he started together with Sacha Beghuin, Matthieu Bourdeaud'Hui and Jules van Hoydonck. Thanks to Roy's clear round with the breeding stallion Chacco me Biolley, the Belgian team was allowed to ride jump-off against Germany. In the jump-off our first three riders rode so well that Roy did not have to compete in this barage.
Belgium thus took 1st place in this final. Congratulations to the team.
